Why wouldn't I just hire someone?
Do, if you have $120k+/year, three months to recruit, and appetite to manage them. We're for everyone who'd rather have the output without the org chart.
Do I have to learn Jestor?
Your team learns to use their apps the way they'd learn any app: open it, click around, done in an afternoon. What nobody on your team ever learns is how to build, configure, or maintain them. That part is permanently our problem.
Why not use ClickUp/Airtable, or vibe-code it with AI?
You can. Thousands do, on our own self-serve plan too. But DIY tools make YOU the implementation team, and vibe-coded apps make you the maintenance team. If you're reading this section, you've probably met at least one of those futures. This is the escape hatch from both.
How fast is the first delivery?

What if I want to own the code? I don't love depending on a platform.
Honest answer: nobody owns software, they own responsibility. The code you'd get from a dev or an AI builder still runs on someone else's cloud, someone else's database, someone else's auth provider. "Owning the code" really means owning the hosting bill, the security patches, the backups, and the 2am pager. What you actually need to own is your data, and you do: full export anytime, CSV and API, no exit fee, no hostage negotiation.
